Our entire group unanimously agreed that this was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained, incredibly clean, and even more impressive in person than in the photos. Every detail of the home was thoughtfully put together, making it feel both luxurious and comfortable. The host was exceptional. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and extremely responsive throughout our stay.

We had an awesome stay at Desert Shadow. The property is beautiful and feels even better in person than it does in the photos. Having 10 acres all to ourselves made it feel really peaceful and private, with amazing views in every direction. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub, played pickleball, hung out by the fire pit at night, and the stars were incredible.

Jennifer’s place was absolutely perfect for us. We had 2 couples and 2 children. The house had all the amenities we could have hoped for and more. Not only that, but they were quality. This is not something you’ll find at many Airbnbs. We played pool and the pool table was well maintained and not a cheap table. The showers and bathtub were luxurious. The hosts were very responsive and polite. I would very much recommend you staying here!

We had the pleasure of staying at Jennifer’s house during our daughter’s spring break and had an amazing time. We are an active family that love the outdoors, and this home was the perfect match for us. We leveraged everything they offered: jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen with a black stone and BBQ, pickle ball, bocce ball, archery, and golf. We loved cooking outside and eating on the large table and sitting by the fire at night. What a gorgeous outdoor setting!

We had the most incredible stay here and truly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the space felt peaceful, private, and intentionally designed for both relaxation and fun. Morning coffee in the hot tub with nothing but blue sky and desert views? Absolute bliss. What really made this place special for our family was how much there was for the teens to do.

My little family and I were looking for a place to have a staycation near Joshua Tree, and this place was perfect! When we arrived, I was blown away by how spacious it was, it’s a full compound with so many things to do! The house was spotless and looked even better than the photos. Outside, we tried archery, pickleball, and even golf. The pool was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The hosts were amazing and super responsive.

Our time at the Desert Shadow will be most memorable! Beautiful home that provides everything you can think of inside and out. Plenty to do to keep everyone busy, but also plenty of space to just sit and relax. It is truly a home the whole family can enjoy and appreciate. Highly recommend this home for all age groups! You will not be disappointed!

We stayed at Jennifer and Richard’s Airbnb this past weekend to celebrate our mom’s birthday, and we had such a wonderful time as a family. The home is packed with fun things to do, from a great selection of board games to outdoor sports, a pool, jacuzzi, and a BBQ setup. Jennifer and Richard were extremely friendly and responsive throughout our stay.

This place is a gem in the desert! Felt at home right when we entered. We loved everything in the house... the vast space, outdoor tents, numerous games, and the well-balanced decor details. Perfect base to visit JTNP and Joshua Tree city downtown. And Jennifer deserves a five-star recognition as a host! super friendly, proactive, and responsive!
