The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests with one California King bed, 2 Queen beds, and 2 twin rollaway beds.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Desert Shadow. A $500 per pet per night cleaning fee will be charged if this rule is broken. Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are permitted.
Check-in is at 4:00 PM PST. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request.

The pool is not heated in winter or early spring. Heating is available in late spring and fall for an additional fee. Pool heating requires at least 24 hours notice before arrival and is charged at $150 per night from June to September and $200 per night from October to May, for all nights of the stay. The pool is heated to 81 degrees. Jacuzzi heating is included and is always set to 102 degrees.
Guests enjoy exclusive access to a 40’ pool, spa, pickleball and badminton courts, archery range, bocce ball, golf net, outdoor fire pits, hammocks, BBQ grills, star-gazing chairs, game room, and more. The entire 10-acre space is yours during your stay.
Events and parties must be pre-approved by the host. Day guests are allowed but must follow house rules and leave by 10 PM.
Yes! Children are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially around the pool and activity areas.
You’ll receive a front gate code and a door code on the day of your arrival via message.
The property is home to roadrunners, chipmunks, squirrels, and a variety of birds. Guests are welcome to feed them using the food provided at the bird feeder.
Please be aware that rattlesnakes are native to the area. Always watch your surroundings, stay on designated paths, and never approach or disturb wildlife.
